Those are a couple really nice buck, congrats guys!!

I was gonna say it’s been fairly slow for me the last few days…doe still have fawn with them, some smaller buck moving in the daytime, but none of the big boys.

We have room for six more bucks and eight does. If everyone stays after it, we can win this contest. But honestly, have fun and do what you feel is best… no pressure!

Did you guys notice, we are the only team with three bucks over 100 inches... We are on track. Good job, everyone!

I did the same thing a few years back with some pvc. It was quite handy, especially if you had a bunch of guys over shooting. Looks greàt!

Hell, I just realized you said bow stand. Not bag stand.

Minnesota bound. Best of luck , Russ! This will be state number 27 if I am lucky enough to get a deer. Tennessee and Georgia in a few weeks… I have everything crossed!

I intended going down to the farm this weekend. My wife's vehicle is having some issues and with the mechanic. I won't take the only working vehicle three hours away for four days while she has the toddler and seven months pregnant. I'll hunt public this weekend and plan on going down to the farm next weekend. After that it will be gun season. I certainly have my rifle with me. I'll likely bring the bow, as well. You can shoot bow in IL with a firearm tag.

Here in Minnesota, I have had one button buck pass under me. The woods are pretty quiet-other than the noise from the mazillion squirrels.

From what I’ve heard around here, I picked the right rut to miss and be injured. Warm and not much movement at all. I had some good bucks daylight Nov 2 but nothing since then.

Had some doctors appointments today and PT this week. I’m healing well and the Pt said she saw no reason I shouldn’t be able to make my elk hunt in Montana next September. So that’s encouraging. Onward.

I’ve had two button bucks slip by this morning. I haven’t seen a doe or any sizable buck. Man the squirrels are everywhere. It would be fun to go Tim Wells on them with a blow gun!

Well boys, I hit one. He is either a 6 or 8 pointer. I hit him back and it will be a sleepless night. I had blood everywhere… I have my doubts thought. Better safe than sorry. I will pursue him when I can see.
