My trail cam is on fire today. First shooters I’ve seen. Had 3 smaller bucks, these guys, and a doe sprinting by. I’d say one is hot.

This spot is only 200 yards from the place I park. And I could shoot a crossbow. Would it be wise? No. Am I considering it when my wife and kids go out of town Monday and my brother would be here to do the work…

Travis, we are men… it’s what we do! Near death experiences be damned!

All joking aside, if it’s going to hurt you healing, it’s not worth it… if not, then ….

    T,
It’s why we named ourselves “Nine Lives”. It’ll take more than a little car accident and a 10’ garage door to rid us. As you can see, we are coming for your throne!

Well done lads! Congrats on two awesome deer!
I had a nice shooter 22 yards behind me this morning. I couldn’t get a shot at him through the heavy cover, and he used it to walk away from me. We’ll see what deer hunting in Nebraska holds for me this afternoon. It is raining pretty good…

My wife is pretty fed up with my doo doo today with the hunting, retrieving, butchering, etc. I don’t think she will be okay with me spending time scoring. This might have to wait til tomorrow folks. I apologize.

I donated mine to Hunters Feeding the Hungry and took the head to the taxidermist.
My wife is out of town for the weekend. I’m good.

My wife didn’t think it was a good idea for me to go hunt tonight either. She said something about a broken back, surgery a week ago, and pain or something like that?

Haha, I am so itching to get out there but and I have some friends that’ll take me, but I’m gonna be smart and let my body heal. It’s still incredibly hard to roll out of bed. I got plenty of season left.

She was just overwhelmed and over stimulated with my 2.5 year old and his similar aged cousins. She’s 7 month pregnant, so she gets a pass. I get it. I’m just ust trying to play a balancing act.

You’re an animal for even considering it. I’ll tag you in at the end of December when my little girl gets here.
