You might have to. I got really lucky with getting such a high scoring bird last year Sent from iPhone
I'm headed back to Kansas again this year talked to the landowner and there are a lot of birds again this year! Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX HD
We're having a good cold spring, which usually holds off the matting for some time. Last year we had 80+ degree days in march with a may 1st opener... Makes for tough hunting. Did see a couple jakes strutting last week though. Good reports on bird numbers so far. Girlfriend wants some wild turkey meat so I should have a good excuse to get Out and find some birds!
Season opens Saturday for me shot the bow today and its still dead on. Ill be out tryin to locate the toms Friday night. I got my gear all set and ready. Cannon and the GoPro all charged. It can't come soon enough Sent from iPhone

Fridays log- 38 and Sunny / Wind 2 MPH SSW. Birds very vocal before fly down. 3 or 4 groups gobbling less than 250 yards from blind. 1 strutter with a 8 of hens worked their way into the decoys at fly down. At 60 yards all the hens took flight without a peep almost straight over the top of the blind. The tom hightailed it out of there on foot in the same direction. I never did see what spooked them.... Sat until mid morning. No gobbling at all. Going to hit it again Sunday.
Im jealous boys! Nothing like hearing that first pre daylight gobble of the season! Couple more weeks for me!
We're on the board, here is my 2013 Kansas Rio...Can't wait to hunt MN, lots of long beards around this year! Talkin snow tomorrow though :O!
