Went for a short walk today, got like half a mile in and had to go back, holy crap it was cold! My face was numb Didn't find anything but I saw a few deer, one of which was a buck that was still holding it's headgear.

I usually only bring in around 5-12 each season. They just don't yard up on my lease but I have some other areas to. My best 3 woods are getting loged out as we speak HOLY MOLY ,,,,,400 :O
During hunting season this year I found 7, which I'd have been happy to find that all season, lol. They are at the hunting cabin so I will have to get pictures of them next time I'm out there. 3 five point sides, 2 four point sides, and 2 dinks.

Checking in guys, sorry I haven't done so sooner. Thanks for the reminder oly ! Have not heard any reports of horns falling where I'm at in Kansas. Trail cameras back that Intel as all of my bucks are holding both sides. I've got permission on a few new pieces of ground this year that to my knowledge haven't been hunted for a few years. I'm really hoping to have a good season! My personal goal is 25 horns this year. I may find a bunch I may find none, shed hunting isn't my strong suit.
Oh, I won't be out for awhile now. We just got 3 more inches of snow last night so if they did deep they are buried now, and if they do drop its going to be too cold to get out there anyway. probably a week or two before I can go out and be comfortable while looking.
