    Mud, (Chris)

Ive been in this contest a while now.

    I'm from Northwest Pa.

i hunt 500 acre farm in Crawford Co. i'm the only one that bow-hunts it, many ppl rifle hunt it . i have first crack at it thou. i also have about 400 acres around my house that i can bow hunt. however there is other hunters that bow hunt it also. i can walk out my door and walk about 400-500 yards and be in a tree.

i will also be going to the NY to hunt with @Fix ( team big Toe) (PITA the team not Fix)

the best way to win this contest is everyone shoots a doe / 2nd buck.
at least half of us kill a buck.

I usually shot a Doe, about 90-95% of the contest I've been in. I've been skunked on the doe twice in the 19 / 20 yrs I've been in this contest. somewhere around that long.

Logman checking in. I'm Logan. I'll be hunting Northern IL. It's good to see some old teammates on the team, and I am looking forward to getting to know my new teammates.

I'm a big proponent of shooting what makes you happy. If you're happy with it, I'm happy with it.

    Hey guys.
I’m Bobby I’ve not as experienced as Mud but this is my 4th year (i think)
Last time I was Team 8 we won it then lost it.
I hunt Coastal NC which means big deer are hard to come by. But I’ll try to get two on the table.

A few weeks ago I messed around and severed a tendon in my hand and had surgery. They say the healing process is 12 weeks which means I may be out of Season until mid Nov.
Idk if ya’ll want my gimp butt or if I should drop for someone more equipped.
I’ll leave it to the consensus of the group.

Checking in. I’m Aaron (44) from WI. Been in the contest a number of years now. I hunt on 120 acres of mainly WRP/CRP and have access to another 75 acres that my brother owns with one property between us.

I do a lot of other hunting on the property as well, mainly duck hunting with my two boys (18 and 15) and my daughter (10) might start dabbling in hunting this year.

We have a pretty good property with a lot of deer so I’m good for at least 50 points generally. Been close to the 200 club a couple times, but haven’t got there yet. I pass a lot of deer, but if I do shoot a buck, it will be at least 130 points unless it’s an old warrior on the decline.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys throughout the year. Let’s win this thing!

I agree no skating on us. We will take partially you. Just be the coach on the side. Until you can send an arrow thru the lungs of a buck

Yea he NEEDS me to be there for him to kill his buck and then I find it. Just like I did last year.
If I could just get him to give me THE spot, and I kill the buck !!!

although I did have a buck at 40 yards in a field. I could not seal the deal.

    Hi everyone,
I’m Eric. I from mid Missouri.
I lost one off my best property’s last year after chasing what was a 165” deer for 2 years, sure wish I could see what he is this year. I still have access to about 150ac that I have only ever rifled hunted for the last 10 years. On that property I see multiple 130s every year but it’s a lot of open old pasture that doesn’t get mowed so it won’t be easy. I just got permission to hunt a 40ac property that hasn’t been hunted for the last 10 years. I put 4 cameras out 2 weeks ago and nothing special yet. I will be going over on Friday to look around more and hang stands. Finally I just bought my own 40ac that I close on September 15th which is opening day. I posted about it on a thread called “what would you do with this 5ac”. They did let me put up some cameras 2 weeks ago and I’m liking what I’m seeing so far.
Anyway, I have always got a doe ever year but I am picky with my bucks, but rest assured if there is a buck I like I put in the hrs!!

    Checking in!
    I’m Josh ([emoji[emoji6][emoji6]])from northeast PA.

I am super excited for this season.
Work/other hobbies has kept me from being able to do much bow hunting, but this year I got some permission on a new property that is absolutely swarming with deer. I’m not sure what kind of bucks are on the property yet, but getting a doe shouldn’t be difficult.
