So how long do we give Huntalot to check in? Also I was wondering if we decided which Avatar to use? Anyway I'm getting pretty pumped about this season! I have to pick up my arrows today. I have two stands up and ready to go (I usually have only one). I also bought a few little things from Walmart yesterday that'll make hunting a little easier. How's everyone else's preparation going?

I have already given Fitz a heads up on the possible need for a team member from the alternates list. I believe they will give out alts come the 1st. So I suppose he has until then. The general consensus seems to be for your Avatar. :tu: Pretty well ready to roll here... just need Sept 16 to get here.

Sounds like a plan. I wonder how everyone look like to go about getting the avatar. Can you guys just click and save or do you need me to send it to everyone?

My season starts tomorrow, except I will be hunting bear. I am hunting tomorrow night and then Friday and saturday night. I have tried baiting myself the last few years without success. This year one of my customers, who is a guide gave me a deal to hunt at his camp, and since i did not have the time to run my own baits I decided to give it a try. It will be cheaper than baiting myself between the gas, bait and time it took. I will keep you guys posted should I connect.

Good Luck dmen with the Bear Hunt!

Well Guys I got my arrows yesterday! Very happy with them! I got the Goldtip XT Hunters 7595 in Lost Camo with 2 white and one orange Blazers. I'm really looking forward to shooting em! Also I got myself a nice surprise! I was just looking around the bow shop yesterday when I came upon an M5 Mission Quiver. Well wouldn't you know that that's the matching quiver I've been looking for my bow. And it's really strange because the pro shop just ended services with Mathews/Mission because of differences and this quiver was basically a leftover. It was like it was fate! If the shop wouldn't have been struggling I would've asked for maybe a discount but I thought that'd be really rude given their situation. But anyway I believe all I need to do is purchase my tag, check my trail cam, shoot like a madman, and bait a little once it's legal and then I'm as ready as I'll ever be!

Sorry I've been distant lately guys! Looks like everyone that has been posting is getting geared up and ready, putting food out(if allowed), scents, tuning bows.... Looks like we are on the right track! I'll be home in 12 days, but I have the ol' lady putting cameras up, buying all kinds of crap from Amazon, ebay, and the various Archery/hunter friendly web sites.... looks like i'm about another $1500 short this year already and havent even been able to touch any of the crap I've been buying, the wife says its like christmas from Amazon at the house! small buck.jpg had a small guy on the camera, still waiting for updated pictures

Hunt in wisconsin, i have 9 arces i mainly in the early season and a great late season spot, also looking for another place to hunt. Last year i didn't shoot nothing. best buck i seen in range was about 120's 8 pointer. haven't seen any monster on cam, but there a few in the area.
