In the stand. It is opening day of our 4 week gun season here, so i am hoping the deer get pushed around. I am hunting tight to my neighborhood thinking deer will refuge where they will feel safe. Good luck everyone. Only 4 days until I leave for Kansas.

Hey guys. Thanks again for all your prayers for me and my family. I am back home now and heading to the stand tomorrow and Monday. Cold front coming in and the deer are moving earlier now. I got a pic of Hightower walking through at 7:29 AM a few days ago. I am going to shoot a doe the first chance I get for the freezer and then hit the Big Boys! Good Hunting Teammates!!

No luck yesterday or this morning. Had a 6 pointer come through last night, but he's not what I'm looking for. Had a doe and fawn walk within 10 yards right after I rattled, but they're also not what I want right now. Shot at a coyote with my pistol around 11am (we're allowed to carry in IN while bowhunting, if we have a license to carry). Thinking I grazed it, cause it yelped, jumped in the air, then I watched it walk off down the field edge, shaking it's head several times.was hoping to see it fall over, but it never did.

Passed on a 130 8pt this morning, had my hunt screwed up last night by a trespasser after watching a 180 work 3 does for 30 min. Had him at 50yds and comin fast when in comes idiot...... Set a new set this afternoon for him, I kinda bumped him while doing it but not bad he just kinda got out of his bed and walked off. he was upwind the entire time. Gonna let it cool down till Friday then sneak in by boat and hopefully commit murder.

That is a slob hunt a lot, good luck with him. Nice buck suncrest, I have a feeling we are getting ready to make a move. Only 2 more days until I leave for Kansas. I know I mentioned it a few hundred times already, but I am a little excited.

you have to post pics in the official scoring thread - two pics with yourself, deer and bow in the pics, listing the date and time of kill. Not positive on rules if the button buck will count for points. The spike will be worth 50 points.

    Thanks bro.

I did it already. I didn't know how many points to assign to either deer so I left that part blank.

I wish the woods I'm in looked that clear. But instead it's covered in honeysuckle brush and dying trees! I clear out what I can, but it's so thick it's insane. There's only one area that's clear, otherwise I have to hunt field edges. But, it's not my land and I don't have time to drive down there and clear brush on a regular basis.

Just happened to look at the scoring thread and noticed you didn't post pics in there. I know they're being very strict this year. Pop in there and edit your post to add two pics of each deer with you and your bow in the pics. Congrats on the double, by the way.
