I agree.... at least 2 I know of!

 

been rainy so far, looks like this week starting monday is going to be a lot cooler than its been.It's been around 85 with 70-80 percent humidity, just horrible!, although it gave me time to make two christmas hams, sausages, ground meat, jerky, and some great cuts of meat out of the deer!

 

Went out for the first sit yesterday afternoon........in the pouring rain.........the rain stopped and it was dead calm out and........NOTHING!!!!! Not even a squirrel.

 

High School Football Players helmet vs. my rib cage while reffing= cracked ribs for me. Going to try to get out this afternoon and see how I do.

 

still pouring rain, cold shift in weather tomorrow, hitting stand early, then headed to bow shop for another bow!

 

What did you end up getting?

 

bought a Mathews Creed today, shoots good, a little vibration sound but shoots spot on

 

my new shirt

 

In the stand now, wife trying for doe, good buck has been around but at night, ready for a kill with the creed!

man i got busted last night 2 times by the same big doe, first time i was glassing ahead of me from stand and it was under me and about 5 yards back, second time i was just looking around playing on facebook and there was one right below me licking the ladder, and big doe was right beside it, only reason i looked down is because the doe stomped, never knew they were there..... need to focus a little more, also need a buck to come on in!

 

I am back in the stand. I think the wind has gusted in every possible direction so far. I am trying to be real conscientious of wind, but I do not know how when It goes in every direction.

 

Taking Monday off work to get in the stand on some public land. Can.not.wait.

 

I have my eyes on the Chill. Really tempted to trade up.

 

Spent some time last night working on my tree stand and I am worried that I may have made a mistake. Had some issue with one bolt, and without thinking I reached for the can of WD-40. Any tips on removing the smell, or am I just being paranoid?

Good luck guys, I'll be hittin it again this weekend. Lots of good movement lately but all the big boys are still only moving at night. Won't be long now though.

Well things are looking up for me. I saw my first deer today, 10 yards away. Was able to count the 18 spots it still had, I'm not about shooting them that young though...

 

Silly ohio doe only muzzleloader season this weekend, decided to take a road trip to Cleveland and ride some trails on the mountain bikes with the ol lady. Monday morning I'll be back at it.
