Where is everyone from? Im from SE WI, just today got permission to hunt private land, pretty excited since its my first time locking down private land.

 

Talking about spanking other dudes, team really fits!

Ohio here, I've got quite a few private land possibilities, and a great public land place, that I've seen some monsters while pheasant hunting, yet no archery hunters.

Marauder checking in! Alright boys this is my 3rd year in the contest. My name is Tim and I'm jacked up for this season! I'm from Central Wisconsin. I hunt on public land unfortunately but it just makes me work that much harder. I already have my stand set up and going to check my camera in about a week. I hunt in some thick woods kind of similar to Fitz which who usually is the guy I look for advice since he hunts similar land. I unfortunately ate my tag last year however the year before I shot a 88 inch 8 pointer which wasn't too bad. I'm looking to get my doe early to get some meat and some points for us. I suppose that's enough info for now but ready for picking a Captain and a team name whenever everyone else is. I'll do some thinking and see what I come up with.

My name is Josh. I live in Northwest Ohio in a little town called Lima(like the bean). I hunt 4 private properties, and 1 or 2 public lands. All have great potential really. I usually shoot a 3 or 4 does each year for meat, not really a trophy hunter. I'm sure if one passes by the stand I'll slay one though. Passed on quite a few the past couple years that I've wanted to see grow up, Unfortunately I've had a few run ins with poachers and inexperienced hunters who've lost deer after wounding them, even one who said he never stepped foot on my land, yet I had pictures of him walking through during archery season with a gun and white snow camo with a head of a deer which scored 180's after DNR raided his place....
So all that being said, Not exactly a trophy hunter, but may need to get one down this year to get some points for the team! But won't shoot anything smaller than 120's-130's most likely, not being cocky, but there are quite a few deer to choose from... I'll post up some trail pictures when I get back from Iraq. Got less than 3 weeks left here. Season starts Sept 28. Does on my properties are everywhere like ants, can literally drive to stand, wait 20 minutes and slay one..... anyone in Ohio or want to come to Ohio for a public hunt, I've got a great place to go to, no pressure except during gun season which is late november early december. Let me know guys! Non res fees for a tag and license are cheap.... maybe 120 for tag and license!

 

My name is Don, I hunt here in Maine and do a trip to central Kansas in November. Hunting here is tough but I love Kansas. We have a small piece of private ground to hunt there. Going bear hunting next week, then our expanded archery season opens up on Sept 7. I have a few spots in the expanded zones to hunt and general archery season starts Oct 3.
