Here is one of the younger deer I was hoping to see again this year but so far no such luck. I am really hoping he is just hanging out next door and will show up soon.

I just got back late last night from planting food plots and hanging stands. Things are looking good. We got alot of rain over the past couple days so that helped my seed to soil contact alot and I am sure things will take off.

I will post a few pics from the weekend when I get some more time.

I planted three plots this weekend.

This first plot is evolved harvest No Till Easy Plot with radishes mixed in. The plot is 15 yards wide and 20 yards long

The second plot is also Evolved Harvest No Till Easy Plot with Antler King honey hole mixed in. The Plot is about 15 yards wide and 40 yards long

For this plot we planted the entire thing in WTI forage oats and then in one section we planted winter peas and another section we used throw and grow extreme radish.

We recieved a good ammount of rain after I planted and the peas were actually starting to germinate after two days so hopefully when I head back down in a couple weeks I will have some green fields. I also checked my cameras and didn't really have anything to exciting on them buck wise but that usually changes when they shed velvet.

Well first blood has been drawn. Looks like a couple does have been posted on the score card so this thing is officially underway!

Just a reminder to any of you guys who may have never been a part of this contest. All entries must be accompanied by a minimum of TWO (2) photos of the hunter with the deer and your archery equipment in the picture.Every year somebody screws it up and costs their team points. Don't be that guy LOL! :bash:
