Well, I saw 6 does and a rather large 8 point buck. Sadly they were 50 yards out and I had to make a tough call, It was a long shot and I had a bad cross wind, so I didn't take a shot. I was hoping they would come in closer, but that stupid bobcat came in behind me and spooked all of them. I'm over this bobcat, and I'm looking forward to december 1st when I can shoot him.
Haven't done much posting but I check our thread every now and then. Im on day 9 of a 3 week vacation. Finally sealed the deal on a mature buck. only the 2nd buck I have seen older than 1 1/2 in 9 days!
Great buck!!!!!! I have been hunting hard since Saturday. This full moon is screwing me over. I have had encounters with two shooters but they have been out of range. Gonna switch to a couple different stands over the next couple days to see if I can't get one in the range

awesome deer! congrats, its coming down to the wire for me, only a few hunts left and the orange army hits the woods Saturday! have a 4.5 yr old seven that three times i thought i would have only to have something crazy happen!
As I posted a week or so ago that I missed a doe and put it down to the situation and didn't think much of it, well last night I missed a doe at 10yds. She then cam bk 5 mins later and give me a 20yd shot to which I missed again. The other do she was with stayed and gave me a 15yd shot to which I hit a branch that should not of been in the flight path. Wtf is going on!!! Going to shoot the bow later to see what's happenning, Im thinking the sight has moved, I'll let u guys know what I find. After hitting the tree limb

OK well to do it from your phone that's the best option. You could also email the pics to yourself and do it from a computer.
Well I am back from my week long Indiana trip. I saw several good bucks but most of the shooters either were out of bow range or never offered a shot. It was a god trip and I am pleased with how our property is developing. I even saw a buck breed a doe for the first time ever while I was in stand. Next up for me is the IL gun season this weekend. Our spot in Wayne county used to be great but overhunting by locals, poaching, and EHD has really changed the population in our area we gun hunt. Should still be a good time as we have the old fashioned deer camp with 8 guys so I am looking forward to it. I will still be hunting Indiana in December. Now that we have a 1 acre stand of winter wheat, radish, and turnips I will be keying on that to try and get a good buck.
