Ok its opening day for most of us. Good luck to those of you who are able to hunt today.

I will be out for the first time this weekend

 

Went out on opening day. Saw 3 doe in the morning and 7 doe in the evening. Busy the next few days but should try and make it out sunday evening for a sit. Good luck to everyone!

saw my number 1 buck tonight, didn't make it to me by dark, maybe tomorrow!

 

Saw 5 does & fawns this morning and a spike. Back out later today hopefully I can get a doe on the ground

I smoked a doe tonight. She ain't the biggest slick head in the woods but she sure will taste good! She is probably only 1 1/2 years old.

She came in and almost busted me at 25 yards. when she walked behind a tree I drew back and as soon as she stepped out I let it fly. She was 18 yards when I shot and she only ran 20 yards stopped turned around then just fell over. First time I have ever had a deer die in sight with my bow. Pretty awesome!

I will get pics posted tomorrow when I get back home.

 

SAAAAAWEEEEEEETTTTT! have had that happen a few times over the years, it's just awesome when it happens!

 

Congrats on the doe!!! I'll be out 2moz AM hoping for a doe but If a nice big buck walks past I would seriously consider it.

Hey guys this is just a reminder from Fitz-

 

I had two new guys show up on camera. The few ag fields we have around us are in beans and they are turning so combine that with bachelor groups breaking up and this is when I start seeing newbies on camera

Didn't see any deer just 6 turkeys. Going out for 2 sits on Sunday so we will see what happens then

 

I will be out on Saturday and Sunday.

 

I plan to be out saturday and sunday also. Going to mainly be scouting for rifle season but bringing my bow just in case. Gonna be on a refuge north of Oshkosh, NE. If anyone wants to look at it its the Crescent Lake National Wildlife refuge.

 

Perfect wind today and weather. Heading out for afternoon hunt! A doe is in trouble if she comes in. I'll keep ya guys posted.

 

Only saw a couple does today and thats it. Our neighbor hosted a large ATV race on his property today and it was loud as hell so the deer pretty much just laid up for the day.
