Well I had a crappy weekend. My bow had been at the shop because it needed a new bearing in the upper cam....at least so we thought.

I shoot a 2013 Bowtech Experience. A while back I noticed it was making a clicking sound when I would draw back so I took it in and the guy at the shop said he thought it sounded like a bearing was going bad so no problem since it is still under warranty he called Bowtech and they sent a new bearings kit and all is well. Picked my bow up Saturday night happy to have it back.

On Sunday I was 4 arrows in and the string jumped the cam while I was drawing back and I about shot an arrow into my garage. I was pissed to say the least. So I took the bow back to my local shop and after some inspection we figured out that I had a cracked limb. We think the bearing was never bad to start with and in fact it was a small crack we missed that was making the noise. Well after putting the bow on a press a few times when it was in the shop combined with shooting a few arrows the crack got deeper and bigger and we could now see it plain as day on the side of the limb.

He is going to call the BowTech rep today and see about getting the entire bow replaced. If that won't happen then he will get new limbs and anything else needed to fix it. Either way should have it back by the beginning of next week. at least it didn't happen while I was hunting or just before a trip.

Saw lots of deer this weekend. All in total about 10 bucks but no shooters. And numerous does lost track after 40, once it's colder will defiantly take a doe. But it did feel good to get out in the stand!

Well you better get your *** in a tree stand then. Go ahead and skip as much school as you need to for the sake of the team. ;)

my last two years of high school I had auto tech, it was a 3 hour vocational class at the beginning of school day, once season started,I skipped it every morning till I got my buck. The teacher was also a bow hunter and never seemed to concerned with it! that was back in the day! to bad work can't be like that huh!
