Well boys my early season is over. 9 days of gun hunting then back to bow for a month. Late season is rough around here they go so nocturnal most of the time you can't find a yearling. I will not give up until the season is over or my wife threatens me with divorce.:D
Danno, if you have some vacation time and want to still do some archery hunting and up for a roadtrip - let me know.... I'd do my best to put you onto some deer.... :-)

That would be fun. Not sure if I'll personally have a lot of vacation time to devote to a full week of goat hunting type of thing, but I'm sure we could work something out. Guessing next year I won't draw an elk tag any place, so that should open up Aug/Sept some....
Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. I haven't had the season I had hoped I would. I've gotten to the point where I don't really want to hunt anymore this year. Season ends first part of January...I plan to continue to hunt but its not a priority anymore this year. Jason...I think I congratulated you in your main thread but if I didn't...Congrats! Thats a beautiful buck.
I'm done. I hunted the last couple days of the WI bow season I saw a lot of deer even some bucks but nothing I would want to put my tag on.It's been fun getting to know all of you have a safe off season.
Well boys my WI season ended with an unfilled buck tag also. Had a great season though, passed up some great bucks that will be just that much bigger next year. Hope to get one more crack at ILL in the next couple weeks?? I'll keep you posted.
