Just waiting on Oct. 1st here.

I'll be hunting a mixed bag of private land and public this year in central IL.

I'll be putting 50 points on the card at first opportunity as my freezer has nothing but burger left, other than that I'll be picky but if it satisfies me at the time I'll send an arrow. I passed a lot of deer last year and it almost payed off, had a nice wide 10 at 20 yards but there was an island of trees/brush between us. I'm optimistic I can land a nice buck on the private land, I'm not too sure what to expect on public as it will be my first time hunting it.

3 day weekends afford me plenty of time in the woods, hopefully I can make a nice contribution. Going to try filming a few times this year as well, but that will be the least of my concerns.

Good luck to all of our team over the next several months. I love this time of year.

Let's see I hunt in Georgia mostly and some in Tennessee. I will be hunting public and private land. I joined up on a lease for the first time this season and excited about it. My season opens on Sept. 11, so not too much longer for me to wait. Good luck to everyone.

I guess we need to start throwing out some ideas for a team name, anybody have one?

I exclusively hunt Virginia on public and private lands. I have a couple nice bucks spotted and I'm hoping to get the drop on a tall 8 pointer. I have a week off to hunt when season opens, last week & first two weeks of November off, and some days in between. Sooo...I have plenty of time to get the job done. Good luck everyone!

Phillip, I know we haven't gotten to this point but you have my vote for el capitan. :D

This will be my fourth season of hunting (ever). I have about 45 acres of private land out of a 100 acre area in Owenton KY. This area used to be leased to some guys that shot everything that moved. With the help of my neighbors we are trying to correct that and let the little bucks grow. Without those guys hunting here now I do have a few does to manage this year ;) (see pic below). Saw two decent bucks last rut but weren't in range for a shot. Went back and forth deciding on a couple of bucks last year. Neither had brow tines and it would have been my first buck but I decided to give them another year.

Let us know what you find, Phillip.

I guess we ought to send out some PMs to the guys that are MIA?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I think sending out PM's after the weekend would be a good idea just to ensure everyone had time to come check the site.

I'm envious of those of you with September openers. Hoping it cools down before October 1st.

Been trying to get some team name ideas going. I used to be better at stuff like this, but here's what I've got so far. Not the greatest but may help with more ideas:

    Thwack Attack
    Aerial Assailants
    Lethal Injection
    Fatal Trajectory
    The Mulekicks
    Three Bladed Death Punch
    Executioners

Welcome aboard Isaac and I too hope you add 200 points to the team.

Of those names, Fatal Trajectory jumped out at me.

Hey all IDW, checking in. Alright we got simon 04! In case you didn't know he smoked everyone @ the gtg this yr. He was dead on everything. Hopefully you'll come thru & bring in the 200 on one deer and put your brother to shame, again. As for me, looks promising this yr. We moved a stand next to a corner of a cornfield that has a bunch of prints on the edge of the field. Already trimmed up lanes, and I shot a big doe same spot last Dec. We open on Sept. 18th.
How bout the rest of you? what you got lined up?
Whaddya shootin? I've got a Bowtech Tribute, Easton Axis arrows.

I have a Diamond Marquis. I'm shooting Beman ICS Bowhunters with a Slick Trick, a Thunderhead, a F15, and a 2 blade Rage in my quiver. Going out in the morning and hopefully will have a quick 50 points for us to put on the board.
