looks like your el cap brandon

i’m also shooting the vertix this year. man did i have an awful time tuning that bow. hours spent working on it, multiple shops and dealers, shims and different cams from Mathews. finally got it dialed a couple months ago and now love it but it was a shaky start. did you find that to be an issue with yours?

i’ve shot ramcats for the last couple years and love them

No sir, I had zero issues tuning my Vertix. We paper tuned it at the shop in 5 minutes or so then it took me a dozen shots to get my HHA set up. After that it's been dead on. I took it to shoot 3D last week and shot 182 at the 40-50 yard range. I'm happy with it.

For October and the first few days of November I am shooting a PSE Evolve 31 and I have been killing with Killzones with no complaints

For the 2 weeks prior to gun season I will be using my Bear Fisix crossbow with Rage heads

lucky man. Mine was a pain and even the dealers couldn’t figure out was wrong with it for awhile, everyone kept trying different things. finally a shop 2 hours away had it for two weeks and got it shooting great. happy with it now though. big upgrade from my heli-m i had forever. but if you like fixed blades definitely give ramcats a look!

Does that have to do with your hunting laws? Or can you use a crossbow at anytime?

The Helim was one of my favorite bows. I shot the Triax last year and I was an awesome bow. I shoot the Vertix a little better probably because its a few inches longer. I'm glad they got it shooting good for you. They are sweet shooters.

NYS hunting laws... tho I love my compound and find it easier to shoot a deer that sneaks up on me with it ... the crossbow is so lunky

That's what I figured. We are allowed to use them here all season. I've never even shot one though.

I've been shooting QAD exodus for the last few years. I shoot a 60 lb. bow and everything I've shot from 90 lb does to 200lb bucks have been passthroughs.

I’m shooting 60 also. I’m going to pick up some today and see how they fly. I bought muzzy MX3 last week and was not impressed with them. Decided to let my wife shoot them this year as they fly fine out of her bow.

I love ramcats. However it's like a jigsaw puzzle trying to get them in my quiver lol. I bought the ramcat quiver a few years ago and hated it ha. They are an awesome head though for sure.
