He came through the surgery ok, but has had a rough couple of day. Trying to get fluids out of his lower lungs seems to be an issue. Holding his own for now! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers guys! We can use all the help we can get right now!
No deer for me this weekend. Our PA Late Archery Season comes back in on 12/26. I might have to go out and get a doe here at home
I went today before all this weather hits and pulled the ground blinds. Over the last several season Ive had several messed up by the heavy snow. I may try and get out later for a scrub buck, but every buck i got on camera is busted up. With the forecast it probably will be after xmas.
Same for me. I was going to head out to Ohio but looking at the high winds and low temperatures, I just can't do it. I'll be back at it after Christmas. I think we're going to need more does and points before this thing is over. Got to keep grinding.
Had a good vacation, snuck away for a couple of days with the wife. Work is finally slowing down a bit. Was thinking about going out tomorrow but -15 with -48 wind chill isn't all that appealing even in a heated blind. Hope you all have a good week going into Christmas. I'm going to try it this weekend if I can Dmax. My cameras have pretty much went dead this past week. Looks like I only have one or two bucks that are still around and they are either busted up or carrying just one side. Good luck to you!
Man did I ever miss the run of success for the team! Congrats to all you guys on the bucks and does! Still time though to smack a late season buck or doe! I finally caught up to the buck I’ve been after all season on Tuesday evening! He’s my best buck to date and I’m tagged out! It’s been my best season ever!
