    I wish you best of luck on a good one. It’s the best time of the year to be in the woods. I’m still grinding here at home. Hoping that one buck I saw last night comes back. Debating on taking off tomorrow. I need to go to South Carolina on Tuesday and won’t be back until Friday.

    It is so special. We live for days like I had this morning. Daddy use to call them parade days! He loved deer hunting. Bought us boys a farm when I was in my late thirtys so we would always have a place to hunt. Everyone is a treasure.!

    Got it done on Friday night on a big old 8 running around our property! Field dressed at 207# at 128” and the sucker had me pumped up! Tough season for me and the first mature deer in front of me all year! Hope you all have some luck the rest of the season!

    Very nice! They are on the endangered list in Ohio and I get pictures of them all the time. We have seasons for them in PA and I’ve never seen one or got a picture of one. Crazy

    IMG_20231114_134240.jpg Had this guyat 25 yards and couldn't pull off the shot. Getting closer. 3 days left. Will try and get back out tomorrow. This stand has been hunted 4 times since last Tuesday and has produced sightings every set.

    Question. Would you go back into it torrow evening to hunt it?

    I would absolutely go back. All bets are off during peak rut. I’ve walked up on 2 bucks in Ohio years ago that had a doe pinned down in a briar patch. I got within 20 yards of them but I had gotten my buck earlier that day and was trying to push them towards my dad.
