Thanks guys! We never took any photos last night so we’re going to do that shortly. It was 28 degrees this morning, I hope he’s not froze.

You nailed it Bone. Every time I scored him in my head he as in the 150's. He ended up scoring 173- 5/8". I still can't believe it. I'm getting ready to enter him on the scoreboard.

Yep... That's how I was when I shot my good one. Thought he was in the 70's... All those extras add up quick!

Once again buddy that is one Hell of a buck!

Your wall just got smaller :thewave:

I had someone else confirm that the pics were posted and I can zoom in on the thumbnail pics in your post above and see that you have the required pics, so I’m going to enter it.

I do need you to do me a favor though. I’ve gotten some questions about the number of abnormal points you have listed. I think it may be because they all aren’t all visible in the pics you posted.

Could you take a few pics of the back of the rack from different angles and post them here in your team thread?

This is not directed at you, but this is what ruins the contest atmosphere for me year after year. The arm chair P&Y scorers.

The constant calling out anytime a big deer is entered.

I personally like to observe the deer before the scorecard, count points and then might rough score if certain scaling is there. See how close I get.

I got 15 points on my initial assessment. His scorecard has 15 points.

I don't think anything is on the back of the rack, think it is all on how you view the normal/abnormal aspect.

He has it as a mainframe 7 with 8 abnormals.

I seen it as a mainframe 9 with 6 abnormals.

I now see it as a 14 point, 9 normal and 5 abnormal. Just based on pictures.

Not going to try scoring it as angles are awkward.

General idea of what I seen possible...

You're making way too big a deal out of this Clint and I wish you hadn't posted this in their team thread. Reverse angles on a complex rack show everything and eliminate questions.

Last year B Hicks killed a giant with lots of trash and he posted around 12 pics from different angles so everyone could see what he was scoring. It worked.

I believe that Scott's deer scores exactly what he says it did.

He has it scored as a mainframe 9 with 8 abnormal points, by the way, and I believe him because I know he is an honest man, but based on your post above, more pics would help to confirm that.

I deleted a few posts to eliminate some of the "static" from your team thread. I was finally able to see the pics that Scott posted. I'm not sure what's causing my issue, but it's definitely on my end and while I can't control it, I still feel like I need to apologize.

Hey Guys, I wanted to add a few more pics of this buck brows and bases that drove crazy in pursuit of my quest to get him. I've never physically seen a buck like this. When you getting out again Bone? I'm going to stay home this weekend and go out on Saturday morning and evening. I've had a couple of small bucks on camera at night but nothing in daylight yet. I think that ladder stand you got looks very promising. Keep at it, it will reward you.

Headed back out tomorrow evening. Probably be back in it or over by the river. Still waiting on corn to get harvested. As you can see my lease is surrounded by ag fields. They are still hiding in it.

I do remember. Dad and I had a 160 acre lease on the west central side of Illinois in the early 2000's. Once the crops came out the deer were in the woods and moving. Good Luck!
