Great job tommy!! It is going to be in the upper 60's here for at least the next week. The bucks that I've been watching are all still carrying both sides. Crick, let's see those pic's of tommy's sheds....................
Those were both in food plots at the in-laws. One was in the clover plot the other was in the oats, turnips, etc. plot. It's nice. Everything in the large plot that had about 9 different things in it is really starting to green up.
4 More today guys. Found the matched set of the buck our boys nicknamed Ian. From the movie Open Season. These are very symmetrical. It is the way he is holding them that makes them look off. That is the grass that we found them in. In my in-laws back yard. Less than 40' apart. The excitement on his face when he found it was worth everything. I didn't help him out at all. Wouldn't need much help in grass that short.
I'm done that's it for me 52 total not a bad year. According to my fit bit I walked 220 miles shed hunting this yea. Turkeys and food plot season has started so time to switch gears good luck guys.
That's on helluva year tommy! Thank You for all you've done! It had greened up a bunch here with the recent rain. I'm still on the lookout!
Okay, I usually just browse through these looking and ooo and ahhh over the sheds people find. But, holy cow Tommy - 52?! That's awesome.
Things have greened up way early this year here. I don't know if that is what has kept me from finding more or if there are more people sneaking in on places that I have permission for.
Awesome year Tommy! Unfortunately I'm not seeing much right now guys and have limited time left. I'm moving into a new place next weekend so my shed hunting time won't be great afterwards. I did find a 110"ish dead head last weekend but I guess they don't count for the contest. With any luck I'll be able to find something on the property at the new house next weekend, the old owners had a pile of sheds under the front porch when I went to look at the place.
