Been a busy few days for me. Sprayed my new woods plot in preparation for planting in two weeks, got another plot planted (thanks to my dad), and hung two more sets. Pulled cards on two cameras, and I have a good group of bachelor's hanging around with a couple of potential shooters. Had around 5000 pictures on my woods plot through July and August of mostly this group. This guy has a little kicker off his base (this is at a different location, but have a ton of photos of him at the woods plot as well). Lots of pictures of this funky guy, too:
Some reason I am not able to see your images MGH, might just be my computer. I have a small tucked away plot that I have a stand hung over( about 1/3 acre in the middle of the woods). Was considering spraying this weekend and plant the next. But should I risk that with bow season coming in just 2 weeks from tomorrow you think? I need to get my seed in the ground but hate to be in there doing too much right before the opener. What do you guys think?
Well today is the first day that I have been able to wear long pants and boots. Its been a full week since my infestation. Still a little discomfort around my ankles but I think the worst has past. I was able to get another feeder out today and a camera! This spot is 80 acres of timber surround by beans Once those beans go bitter I expect them to hit the feeder really hard! I won't check that camera for 2 to 3 weeks. In the mean time I may look through last years bucks for some inspiration! I may even post some pics especially being that all my links to my photos on Photobucket are broken!
Here are some I have been chasing the last 1 or 2 years that I believe to still be alive. I have more but need to upload them to Flickr.
I'm here in Wisconsin waiting for fall to start. Its my favorite time of year. Some good looking deer you guys have pictures of so far. I have pixtures of 10 or so shooters so far. One never can plan until the velvet comes off though. The bucks will becon the move shortly. Good luck Team 8. A few pictures from two different states. Hopefully one or two of these stick around.
I have another camera out. Going to get a few more out tomorrow I hope! Have to see if the rain holds off long enough for me to get down in there. I'd like to get it done before it rains to wash my scent away!
Haven't seen the big boy in about 1.5 weeks. A small 8pt showed up. And the bigger 8 is still around. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Same here. Been 2 weeks since I've seen my #1. Got several small bucks regular , hoping he finds his way back home in about 2 weeks.
Yeah. Only concern I have is that Mr. Big and the big 8 had been running together since July. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
