I'll be out again with the kids this Saturday for early antlerless season. Might bring the bow depending where we sit. I put a trail camera up again for the first time in a couple years. Plan to pull the card This week and see if I need to make a move. Supposed to be warm again in the upper 80's
Didn’t end up hunting yesterday. Not feeling the greatest and it was just too warm outside. Pull camera card Thursday and had no pics. So obviously they are not using that trail any more. lol. It was pretty beaten down but probably spring mid summer travel. Moved camera and will let soak for a couple weeks. Might get a mid October hunt in but likely won’t be until the end of October

been trying to get My girlfriends son his first deer with no luck, were gonna try again this weekend, Im headed to My Kentucky late lease next week for 4 days, nothing on cam I want to shoot yet but I know theres bigguns up there
Went out to move trail cam and found this guy. Probably only been dead for a couple days. Doesn’t look like it was shot. Guessing got spooked by something and got stuck. Tough way to go
Wow. Definitely not a good way to die. You must not have a big problem with coyotes. You can see the ground tore up with him flailing trying to get out.
There is a small pack running around but this is not their main area. Only hear them, on occasion. I know the neighbor does some coyote hunting so probably helps. Yeah he was struggling to get out. I walked by the same area 2 weeks ago and he was not there. Probably took several days for him to die.
