This year my goal is 100"or bigger. I do a lot of my hunting in the northern part of Michigan. Theres some nice bucks up there but nothing compared to the southern part of Michigan. Ive had my trail cams out since middle of July and headin up north to check them this weekend. Neighbors up there have a few big boys on cam so im excited to see what all i got. But anyways I picked up a 25 acre lease in Ingham county and i have permission to hunt 40 in Eaton. Both have very good potential. All of my trail cams are up north so i wont be running any of them on my lease this year i believe... Season starts Oct 1st!!!!!!! Cant wait!

Looks like you have lots of options. Let us know what the cameras show. Good luck.

If ya'll dont hear from me for a bit its because the wife and I just had our first baby 3 weeks ago. I am still trying to get used to the routines and it might cut into a little of my hunting this year. Hopefully the passion I share for the outdoors rubs off on her, never to early to start!

Based on what guys are posting for our team we have a fighting chance if we can get a couple target bucks down and the rest of us all kill does.

If we can accomplish this, we will be sittin pretty no doubt. I'm hoping to take down the big 9 and if not, I'll be more then glad to take down the 12. I have been following the 9 for the past 3 years and I think this is his year.

I think I can get a doe down early this year according to my trail camera pics, but you never know, hunting is unpredictable.

Does coming in every day around 6-7 o'clock. My stand is about 17 yards straight out and to the right (not visible here).

Went out to my lease today to check things out and trim some shooting lanes. Things are looking great! Plenty of sign everywhere. I may take down one of my cams from my property up north and put it out on the lease. The property owner has been seeing a few nice ones in the evening out in the fields so im very anxious to see what i can capture on my trail cam.
