Back at it again and have already seen 2 does behind me at about 200yds. Noticed on my way in that a buck has went crazy on my trail. 3 rubs and scrapes all in about 20yds.

Saw a fawn and a 4 point today, but nothing shootable. I've been coming close guys, the rut is pretty much here and I have a good feeling about it. November 5th is going to be the day, no school and hunting all day. Here is my hit list:

Do you have another picture with you in it? I believe you must have 2 pics with you, deer, and bow in order to post. Also will need time of kill and yardage.

Got my doe entered, time to hit the bed and try to get me a buck on the ground in the morning.

I do not. Those are the only ones I have as I took care of the deer myself and had my 80 yr old grandma take the pic of me in it. Shot was 25 yards at 1645 on 24/10/2014. Guess if it ain't good enough, then so be it. I'll have to get another one on the ground

Yes, MUST have two pictures, with your bow. They don't take exceptions.

I dont know about extensive but I will try and be in the woods as often as possible. Finding scrapes and rubs all over the place but just havent been able to catch any bucks out in the daylight.

Sweet! Doing an all day sit tomorrow. One thing that sucks is i barely get any service here so its kinda hard to give updates while hunting. Have you been out much lately?

Not since September 29. I've only done 3 sits this year. But I will be hunting hard starting Saturday. I have all next week off of work.

Tomorrow or maybe Saturday by you there will be an almost 20 deg drop in temps. That should get things
    moving.

Almost shot a really nice buck (118")yesterday morn. He came to 28 yards head on. He turned broadside but looking are direction. My cameraman(brother) grunted when he was walking to my opening. At the time when he was walking I was drawing back. My brother stopped it when I was coming to full draw. I had to hold my bow back half way drawn for a minute, because he was looking in are tree. I told him from now on, I grunt to stop the deer. Long story short, it eventually picked us out and took off. The buck has a rub line that I will be hunting this week. Hopefully I get him. I will call him "Lucky Joe".

Is it just me, or are some of the team missing or haven't been on here in a long time. Either they forgot about this, or they are hunting like everyday. Lol

I'll be hunting all day Saturday, and probably just Sunday morning. But Tuesday I have the day off of school and my dad took the day off work so we will be hunting from dark to dark  Hope the action is good!

Back in the stand this evening, was hoping for hunting all day but the winds were still up around 20mph this morning so I skipped out. We had a wicked storm come through yesterday evening and through the night with winds hitting 60mph. One good thing is that it got rid of a bunch of leaves and has increased my views and opened up a couple new shooting lanes.
