Just got settled in to the stand. After this guy tonight!

 

How is everything going out there team? Give us some updates.

 

Its been going good for me! Works been so busy I can only hunt on the weekends right now. But it should start to slow down soon. Been seeing quite a few nice bucks but nothing in range. Im holding out on shooting a doe until late season. This threads been kinda quiet lately.... Seems like were missing a few team members.

 

It's been okay here. Saw a couple of bucks (one shooter) Saturday morning but other than that its been pretty quiet around here.
Not many of my buddies are shooting deer around here either, so its good to know its not just me. I will take a doe if one comes in, dying for some meat in the freezer this year.

 

I'll be out there tomorrow evening and Friday morning. Wind is looking pretty good so hopefully it stays that way.

 

Im going out Friday morning. Im buying another doe tag, that's how sure I am of shooting two doe in one day. My bro in law shot a doe Saturday, and then had another pig of a doe come by. He couldn't shoot it because he was out of doe tags. I don't want that to happen to me.

 

Looks like I will be in the woods all day Friday and Saturday. On my last card pull had a couple of new bucks show up. Havent been getting any in daylight as of yet except for the smaller ones so hopefully they will mess up soon. Friday is supposed to be pushing record breaking cold for Central KY, hopefully it wont put them to bed but will have them up on their feet and headed my way.

 

Sounds good guys. I have 9 days till my rut hunt starts. Extended forecast looks cold. Should be perfect.
