That's a great buck man! Especially for Michigan! 140? Maybe a bit more... Kinda new to the whole scoring thing, but that's my guess.

Looked at that pic again, and with that mass and width, I'm thinking more towards 150.

Thats exactly what i was thinkin he scored. 150-160ish. And i know ive been getting a few nice ones on cam. I see more bigger bucks up north then I do by my house in Eaton county. Pretty much everyone in a couple square miles practices Qdm. We all get together a couple times a year and talk about what were doing to improve the herd and what not.

That is awesome. I wish people in my area would be willing to do that. Too much of the "brown and down" mentality around here.

Awesome buck there Rackhunter. Love those wide deer. He looks almost identical to the 10 point I shot last season and he scored 142 and some change. Mine was 22in wide but only had a tallest tine of 9in so I think that one looks a lil taller so I'd say he be somewhere in that neighbor hood maybe pushin 150's

010.jpg Here's our buck that died last year from the EHD. Sad story to an awesome buck. He was 21 in. wide, haven't scored him yet though.

Went out Wed afternoon to put out some apples I pulled from some local apple trees at my hunting spots and pulled my cards to see what has been coming in the last couple of weeks before season starts tomorrow. Unfortunately the bucks I have had on camera this summer have not showed up the last two weeks. If anything shows up this week I will be suprised, lets hope for the best!

Well guys, our season starts next Saturday, but I will be missing opening day, and at least the first week or two.. Found out yesterday that my son is coming this next Thursday, and is going to be here for at least a week, maybe 2. So I will be spending some quality father son time. He is in North Dakota, and just graduated college. Have not seen him since Christmas time.

Unfortunately shut out on opening day. Saw about 20 deer tonight which 5 were young bucks. Could have taken a doe but was watching movement off in the distance and ended up getting busted by a big momma doe. Man it was hot this afternoon, temps right about 90.

Well went for a lil drive tonite and was completely dissapointed. Only saw one small buck. All of our big bucks have seem to vanish, we are not even getting them on camera anymore. And to top it off Im not sure when I'll make it down to KY. Hope something changes real soon.
