I set up my tree stand and a ground blind on my early season spot. They are just off a field access road in between a corn field and abandoned/overgrown farm place.

Wind will determine which I use on any given day.

Buckhunterben checking in from MN. This is my first year in the contest and I'm looking forward to doing what I can to contribute to our team. I'm cool with no. 6 as captain and with whatever name our team decides on.
Last year I shot a nice approx 160" buck (see my thread under Bowhunting Talk "my minnesota giant self film bow kill"). Here are a few of the bucks I have on camera so far for this Fall. Lets go team 7!!

    Team is looking good guys!

Only waiting for one more to check in then we will confirm team name, I'm thinking "Bucknificent Seven" is going to be the favorite?!?!?

I will start working on an avatar sometime this week. Anyone else who has some time please feel free!
I'm only so good on Microsoft paint :throw: Lol.

My name is Corey and I hunt on 100 acres in of Nashville, MI. My family has owned our current property for four years and I have harvested two nice 8-points in the mid 120's. This year I am going for a hat trick of my own, I have shot both of my deer so far in the same general area and around the same time. Other than my favorite stand I also am going to work the edge of our prime bedding area which I have never done before. I'm hoping by doing this I can see some more action earlier in the season.

    Cant wait for Oct 1!

Here is my number one buck

I guess I never properly introduced myself.

My name is Stuart. I'm in southern Nebraska just a few miles from the Kansas border. I hunt 3 different private properties that are sections of the same Creek bottom and one abandoned farmstead. Not big woods by any means.

I've seen a couple dates mentioned for opening day. Here it is Sept 1st. I would love to poke a velvet buck but meat is my number one trophy and a doe will win out on that respect.

I guess I never actually introduced myself. My name is Shannon (male)and I hunt a property in southeast Missouri. I have only been hinting about 6 years,(late start) but got hooked! Learning more every season thanks to this website and Bowhunt orDie!

It's looking like we have a great group of guys and a real shot at winning this thing this year, can't wait for trophy photos to start rolling in!

I too did not formally introduce myself. I'm Mitchell from SW Michigan. I have access to 6-8 different properties from 10-150 acres. As I said I have not gotten any cameras out yet this year due to work but that is going to change this Sunday. I'm taking the day to go check stands, trim as needed, hang some cameras, and hang some additional stands on two new properties that I acquired this year.

IDK how everyone feels about it, but last year my team gave out their names and numbers for a group text and it worked really well to communicate, especially while hunting instead of checking this thread. I'm aboard if everyone else is as well.

My name is Josh and I will be hunting 2 properties in Texas this year. They are both about 200 acres and they are about 60 miles south of Dallas. Those properties usually at least get me a 120"-130' buck each year. My friend is also allowing me to go down to his property for a couple weekends which is in the panhandle. This property is where I shot my personal best at which scored a 154". I'm also taking a week of school and going up to Maine and hunting there for a week and I'm all for having a group message.

I think we should use an app like "groupme" to stay connected. I think with everyone having different phones and services the group text may get messy

Does anybody else use or open to using BBM? The group chat function is excellent.

Whatever the majority wants be it an app or plain text I'll be happy to join in

I'm fixing to go check cameras and I sprayed an area 2 weeks ago for a plot and I'm going to see how that turned out.

BBM has been cross platform for a couple years. It's available in the app store and Google play
