Looks good to me. Agree with the detail, it really gets lost. As far as team name only thing would be up the size of font but that may take away from the bold seven.

Just to update had kind of a busy weekend so didn't get to check cams. Might be able to gst out a day after work this week. Also planning on throwing some trunips or something out after chop corn for silage here in week or two. They came up good last year so hoping to try that out again.

Hopefully that red seven will be all over the scorecard this year!

So, I have a Covert Black Hawk (wireless) camera I want to put up this weekend but I am not sure where I want to put it yet. Last year I had the camera in a food plot for awhile and got tons of pictures but, as soon as Oct 1st rolled around they were all nocturnal and I didn't see a single buck during the day while I was sitting.

So this year I want to move the camera to a new area but am unsure on how I want to use it...would you guys use this camera to take general inventory of your favorite spot so you know when to hunt or would you use it in a secluded area to try and figure out something new and exciting?

I think that I would use the camera in a somewhat secluded spot. You said that you didn't see anything during shooting hours. Were there still bucks coming g to the area? If so, I would try to back track a bit to try to give you some intel on when those bucks were on their feet. Wait until you get a deer coming through on a regular basis move in when wind allows and do a hang and hunt. Use old sign such as rubs and scrapes to keep you in the general area of where the deer were coming from.

I have a feeling they are moving North from the neighbors property really early in the morning, most of the bucks I had on camera were there around 3-4 am. Maybe I need to forward track? I'm not a big fan of the Hang and Hunt but I may have to try it, just have a hard time trying to stay scent free when putting stands up.

I've always questioned the idea of staying as scent free as possible when hanging stands and off season scouting. Leaving a scent behind that doesn't lead to a threat could serve to soften the impact of scent during season when we are being as scent free as possible.

Besides I hunt areas that border irrigated Farm ground. I think the deer are used to smelling people on the breeze.

I think it's time to change our thread name to include our team name. I believe No.6 is the one that has to do it since he created the thread.

Has anyone been getting and recent pictures? I will hopefully be able to check one on Saturday and get one more out before I head out of town for work on my day. I won't be back to Michigan until the 12th so it'll be a nice long soak

Will be going out to the property for the last time before hunting season this Saturday. Hope to get the rest of our work done for the year and possibly do some coyote hunting/trapping. I will be putting my wireless cam out too so hopefully I will have updates almost everyday to share.

I would vote for someplace new, since you will probably be hunting your other favorite areas soon, which means you will see whatever is coming through there already...

Weird question, but should we all change our profile pick to the team Avatar?

I was hoping to get out and check the camera this weekend but i'm in southeast texas and there's a tropical depression forming in the gulf right now. It's suppose to rain from thursday til early next week. So far, i've been covered in doe. They are coming by daily to feed on the corn i laid down. I'm hoping to get some bucks in this next trip but atleast i know i'll be able to get us 50 points this year.

I hope to get out this weekend. Freshen my mineral licks, set a blind, hang my last set, and check cams. If I get all this done, I will vacate until I am carrying my bow back in towards the end of September start of October!

I'm hoping to get put this weekend and check cams and hang last stand need to hang. Been debating on moving one little closer to feild edge but havent decided yet. Right now its about 30 yards in treeline and has been a good stand but if moved it up to feild edge would be able to cover same area do now plus out into the open field. Idk tho. Main thing is need to check with buddy that owns farm and see where cows are gonna be until they get moved to winter feedlots.
