Bought my second archery tag today. Like the first one it's good for either a buck or doe.

If I get it filled, I'm limited to season choice antlerless permits. They are available otc until they run out.

Nice job getting points on the board. I can’t wait for the weather to cool and for my Hunting vacation to start the last week of October first couple weeks of November.

i get 5 tags in texas. 2 tags dedicated to anterless and 3 tags for either buck or anterless. Every county has a 2 buck and 2 anterless tag limit and the particular property i'm on only allows 1 buck and 2 anterless. Also, most counties only allow for anterless to be taken until a certain date then only bucks. luckily, the property i'm on allows me to take anterless all season long.

We can buy 2 buck tags and up to 5 doe tags a day until gone. But I haven't heard of them selling out in our county.. too many Hunter only shoot bucks.

Out in GA, we get the option of taking home 12 deer, two antlered. The most I have taken in a year is three, which keeps my family fed.

I believe that I have only heard of 3 counties so far that are sold out in Michigan at least in the lower half of the lp and that is berrien, Cass, and van bueren I believe. I am in berrien but I usually just get my combo tag and two does. If it's getting towards the end of the season and have both buck tags I will use one for a doe.

I got my combo and a doe tag for Barry co, and im pretty sure there are leftovers. I have never got two deer in one year but would sure love to. Heading out from work at 11 to hunt for the weekend. Im hoping the windy warm weather will have the bucks moving mid day, I plan on sitting all day tomorrow.

Anyone notice the Google map update? At least for my area, the maps are as current as mid September. When I saw this last night I got super pumped because you can see all the work we have done on our property now.

Well friends, added another doe to the scorecard for the bucknificent 7 team. Shot her last night and was lucky enough to get in on film. [IMG][IMG]

Congratulations!!! I could have shot one this morning. But if I did my hunting would be done for the weekend, because i would have to get the deer home and process it right away.. too warm here 77°.
But if I see one of the bucks I've been getting on cam I'll shoot..

I'm planning on helping my in-laws cut firewood tomorrow. I'm being picky this weekend. Next weekend will be much cooler and better. Again congratulations.

Congrats! Good luck to everyone this weekend and this coming week. I am out in California for work, but come home Thursday and hope to be back in a stand either Friday night or Saturday morning. I'm hearing things are really starting to ramp up and cannot wait to be back in a stand

I've been hearing grunting this morning but haven't seen anything. They should be moving pretty good today since we had a good rain yesterday and the moon phase was right. Almost hit a doe and a fork buck driving in.

Congrats on the doe. Rackin up some points.
