    Went out for my first afternoon and saw one button buck and five doe. Was going to take a doe but she had two fawns following behind her. I was surrounded by deer by the end of the night so I may not be hunting that stand at night anymore.

    Well guys opening day was quite eventful here in sw Michigan. I came down with a stomach bug Saturday afternoon which led to some events I will not speak of lol. I woke up Sunday morning feeling less then great but better than horrible. I almost shot a doe but only had one small window and couldn't capitalize. After that I had two small bucks come by that hung out for quite a while and put on a pretty good show. I let my wife hunt the evening and I received a call from her at 6:30 saying come pick me up...she caught the bug that I had. Not the day I had been waiting for since January 2ND but a season is here nonetheless. Good luck to everyone! I won't be hunting again until either Thursday or Friday.

    I got a couple stands moved to a new property today.

    Weather sounds uncooperative until the weekend for hunting them though.

    That's OK though. My son wants to go and we need to broadhead tune his bow and gather up some camo for him to wear.

    Taking the day off work tomorrow to hunt. We have rain coming in today and Friday this week, hopefully they will be moving Thursday

    I went twice this last weekend. Struck out except for a few coons, a few chipmunks, and about a thousand squirrels? Supposed to be in the mid to high 80's this weekend but dip into the low 70's for highs the following Wednesday. Hopefully next week?

    Heading out this evening after work. Hoping for a good night. Rain off and on all day until 3 this afternoon then clearing for tonight with rising pressure. Pretty good recipe for for a successful sit, at least in hoping!

    Congrats on being first points. That's a big doe.

    I should be able to get my first sit in next weekend. I'm going to be putting in insulation, sheetrock, and flooring in my home this weekend. I'm hoping to be back in the house in a week or two.

    Congrats on the first points for the team! I’ve been swamped with my regular job and farming that things have been crazy! I’ll be getting out next week trying to let an arrow fly at a doe! Still waiting on one of my big boys to show up on camera but I got a couple deer I’ll be willing to let my little brother take for his first buck![​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Congrats on getting us on the board. I was out all day yesterday and saw about 15 deer. These doe know where my shooting lanes end because they all skirted me not allowing a shot. Had my first buck encounter of the year, a real mature spike walked in last light and start stomping around lol

    I love getting them involved as much as I can at their ages right now. Besides mama and dada both of their first words were deer lol!
