I am interested in what will actually happen, but WAY too cheap to pay for what I assume is a step above a WWE slam fest or whatever it is called lately!
If you are watching, let us know what happens. Thanks

Lucky dog!! Well guys I check a cam on Saturday with hopes of my number 1 showing up with no avail but I did have a nice group of young bucks for the future and a number of does. I also got what I thought was my last stands up but I stopped at a property I've been eyeing for a couple years now. It is 90 acres, 60 wooded. It hasn't been hunted in years and buts up against a nature preserve on one side and a property that allows no hunting on another side my brother-in-law and I just gained some access to it! It is going to be a great property, now to just get a couple stands up and learn it! [IMG] the green outline is the property boundaries. I walked it just a bit and saw a 120 8 pt in one of the bean fields, very high hope for this property

Sweet! I am hunting a new property this year too that has some nice bucks on it, even though they are younger (2-3). Hope we both get a big one this year!

Is that the huntstand app you're using? I used it last year to pick what spot I would be hunting from last year and it helped a lot.

School has started up for me now but I'm going to be able to get in the stand in the evenings on weekdays. Walked a cut corn field the other day and saw 2 bucks at least in the 130" range so hopefully they stick around.

Yea it is the huntstand app. I like it, especially the feature that tells you the property owner. Although it doesn't give an address it is a great tool that I have utilized a lot the last 2 years

Here are a few of my latest cam photos, the last two are the area I placed my wireless camera. I have a stand sitting on the edge of a hill looking over this thick bedding area

Yes I'm safe. The flooding has caused me to work from home which is essentially watching game of thrones while taking the occasional phone call. My house is in a high spot but my neighborhood floods real bad. I don't expect any water to get in the house but I've also never seen a rain like this so I'll find out soon. I definitely didn't get it as bad as some.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but my patience for season to start is running pretty thin... Can't wait for this year!

Not sure, they are showing within your quote...more than likely something I did. It seemed way to easy to post the pictures.

I'm officially homeless now. Harvey went back out into the gulf and came up right on orange. My house is about 5 ft under water and I'm taking refuge at my sis in laws house. Hoping to get back into the house once the water recedes to assess damages but we expecting a total loss. We had to get boat rescued out at 4am this morning. Everyone is safe just preparing to have to completely gut the house and replace all my stuff. Uncertain of the condition of my hunting equipment but if it's all ruined, may have to drop out of the contest this year.
