This is my first good buck on my private farm that I got any sort of decent look at. Can’t really see him well even in the videos still but he looks good. I’m going up there today to finish up pre season work I might cut down those weeds although this is the the time of year bucks start showing up here so I might just stay away idk.

Put my cuddelink starter set out across the road Two cams and a home cell thing. I’m not confident that they are going to work over there, but we shall see. So, running a tactacam reveal and two cuddelinks. I’ll throw so regular cameras on scrapes as they pop up. Here’s some hopium from last year….

I did see this one live in the flesh/on the hoof last year, he was just across the property line. Came in to about 30 and looped around back the way he came. Maybe I shouldn’t hunt 15 yards off of the line IMG_5835.jpeg IMG_5944.jpeg

Checked three cameras and hung a new one today. No good buck pictures, but lots of does. It looks like the turkey hatch was a good one this year. Oklahoma has a fall season. I won't be targeting turkeys, but if a tom happens to show up, he may be in trouble. [IMG]

Yesterday I went up and helped my dad move a stand at his Iowa permission property and today I went up and finished my chores for deer season on my private spot and his Illinois farm. My stands are all cleared out and ready. Now it’s just shooting my bow, practicing with my beast stand, and waiting for deer to show up. One money way guys I’m pumped.

In that first pic, it looks like that buck has a split brow on his left side?

Made it back home from my scouting trip. We was able to find a few new spots that look looked promising. Now it’s time to get busy here at home.

Never been so happy to see a couple pictures of does, fawns, and a spike buck. Signs of life amongst the death down here. Just heard today that a 200 acre local farm I turkey hunt has found 15 dead deer. Crazy. I’m making game plans to hunt northern Ohio as much as possible.

I have been hunting a 20-acre honey hole that is a 10-minute walk from my house for 15+ years. The man who gave me permission passed away. I have verbal permission from his sons to continue to hunt until they start developing it. I'm just waiting for a liability waiver email from their attorney. I was able to hang a camera over the weekend. Hopefully, I will receive it this week in time to hunt Sunday.

Very stale on the cams here. We have rain coming tonight though. Food plot is semi going after a week and a half. Have deer on both cuddelinks I put out across road. They are working, but I don’t expect to see anything decent until October.

Sorry to hear they're going to be developing that ground. That sucks! Good spots are tough to come by.

They won't develop the land until the city puts in a new sewer line. I don't see that happening anytime soon. I've been able to take a lot of deer off it over the past several years. It will definitely suck when that day does come.

Anyone familiar with OnX? This picture is all public land, but sections of it have dark green lines covering them makes it really hard to see anybody know how to get rid of these green lines? I have tried all the layers to remove them. The only way I can get them to disappear is to cut my public land boundaries off.

Try going into Layers then to your state and turning off the Possible Access tab if it’s on.

I did it two different ways to see how they would look different. It looks like it just represents a different type of public area I suppose you will have to turn those boundaries off to see it without it
