You let things get to you to fast! I actually would rather shed hunt then hunt to kill. If I can give anyone pointers on how we find sheds I will. Sorry for me drawing out your innocent hostility and my (in your words) arrogance.
It's not the 30 at a time that we question, its that you don't post pictures of all the sheds. You will say you found 8 and post pictures of 4. It gets really suspicious when you do that and frankly, turns me and I'm guessing a lot of other people off to this whole thing. I don't care if you give them all away you can still take a picture of them all on your tailgate before you leave. It would be much appreciated by everyone involved.
Your right. I don’t take pictures of all of them because the small ones I didn’t think meant much. But I will from now on. If you noticed we have not been finding as many sheds like we normal do. I wish I could catch the “ya who’s” who are trespassing.
In a quantity contest like we have, every shed counts. I understand it may get boring for you to take pictures of every single fork or spike, but for those of us that only see pictures of half the antlers you say you found, it would be greatly appreciated. It will also nip the nay sayers in the butt so you wont have to deal with us anymore.
Found another old one today after work, new spot and was crazy thick. Lucked into it, I’ll be out after work looking a good bit this week and heading to Ohio this weekend to pull stands, cams and shed hunt.
Added it to our thread total but not the score card. Mother nature rescheduled my South Dakota shed hunt last night which sounds like it was for the best since the deer have not yet dropped or herded up out there. Have not started walking yet - we have had fresh powder since Valentines Day
I am picking up "Griz" the future shed dog this sunday! He is 12 weeks old right now and will receive professional training this summer for pheasants and sheds in return for breeding rights with my breeder! Super excited for next shed season!
That’s awesome about your new pup, went out today after work and got two old ones at a new suburban spot, I’m gonna hit some of my goto spots tom and Friday in hopes of some fresh ones.
