He wont score much (decent main beam length but poor tine length), but how old do you think he is.

I would say hes a solid 2.5, not a bad buck at all.

Im still struggling with my trail cam, pretty much gave up on the big boy so I can concentrate on the main farm. Putting the cam back out tomorrow, we'll see how it goes.

Even at 2.5, I doubt I would pass him up. If I did, I know for sure another hunter there will take him.

Joe, thats a neat looking buck. Ill go 2.5 but maby 3.5 also. Is it me or does it look like he is going through the velvet shed in those pics?? Looks like a shooter ;) Well guys and girls, I have just about completed all my projects before the season starts then im all over it like a spider monker :D My trailer is built for the Jeep less the tail lights that im wireing tomorrow as well as the harness for the Jeep. I have all kinds of vacation scheduled for the season starting late October. If it goes anything like last year I should be up to my ears in bucks, im just so Dam picky  All those 80" --110" bucks that i passed last year should be dandys this season. I was close to 6-7 different P&Y bucks last year but just couldnt get them close or get them stopped from dogging Does  Im also anchious to try the new lease as well. Its almost here team, have fun and hunt hard ;)

I noticed that as well and from the best I could tell when I zoomed in, he is in the process. It looked like he had most of it off. And while I was zoomed in, I think I noticed a left side split brow tine, but it was hard to tell for sure.

Hopefully passing on those bucks will pay off for you. Best of luck!

I need more venison, maybe after Sat. I could give you the recipe!

    Venison beer brats
5lbs meat (venison, pork, beef fat)
    1.5 t ginger
    1.5 t nutmeg
    1 T salt
    2 T pepper
    1 T onion powder
    6 oz beer

Mix the cubed meat and spices except the beer and refrigerate overnite
Grind it once coarse and add the beer and mix
Grind it again fine and stuff into casings or make into patties and grill as a burger
