Currently on a sandwiched 10 days between gun season. Work has been ruthless and has me working the entire weekend, wanted me to work today but was no way. Processor being closed and near 60's temps kept me out of the stand today.

Hoping to get back out there 2nd week of December. I'll be out for 2nd firearm season, after that I have 3 bow tags to fill.

Good luck to all still hunting. For those successful thus far, post up some pics and enter in the contest thread if you haven't yet.

Hasn't been much activity on here in a while. Is everyone done for the season?

Sadly I haven't been out with the bow since mid November. While my freezer isn't completely full, it's an upright so it's hard to store in. Gave about 20# of meat to a friend and was hoping to get out in the next couple weekends but looks like I'll be working the next 21 days straight. I just can't pass up the OT and extra money it brings.

Fortunately I have until 1/15 to hunt so I'll make it out there a few more times. I've only taken two deer thus far, but it has been a great season none the less. I'm hoping to put one more in the freezer and get one for my brother, after that I'll start dreaming of October first again. Well, after mushroom season is done.

Good luck to any of you still out there, could turn rather chilly after Christmas for most of us.

Still hoping to get lucky before season ends. I get four days off at the first of the year and may try to get one then. Congrats to the ones who have taken a buck this year. Luck just hasn't been on my side thus far.
