Way to go Pat. Thats an awesome buck!!

We gave it heck guys...had a Gr8 time with ya'll.

Sorry for the late season disappearing act, had some issues come up.

Lost an Uncle, and he was one of the cornerstones of our Camp.

Perhaps besides my Father, he was the most instrumental person in getting me into the hunting lifestyle as a kid. He is and will continue to be missed.

So if you remember a while back I filmed a big 3 legged buck tending a hot doe well I played the film on my TV and then took a couple of cell phone pics of him since my camera's zoom is malfunctioning.
So here is a couple of crappy cell phone pics of him on TV.
Notice his back left leg is gone just below the knee joint... I have been back to that spot to bowhunt a few more times but havent seen him since :(
Whats weird is when I watched the footage he limps really bad when he tries to walk and his backend almost hits the ground when he tries to step forward well in the video you can see he is actually putting his weight on the severed limbs stump when he steps forward... and coming from someone whom has suffered a partial finger amputation I know a little about how painful it is but DAMN it looks painful when he walks on it !!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year Team!! I'm sorry I've been absent for a while, but "busy" would be a gross understatement! : ) Congrats on the buck, Pat! A real dandy!!! ....So I couldn't help but notice that we are dangerously close, guys.... and I still have a buck tag, and a month left of season! I don't know how many times I can get out between now and then, but I'm sure a couple of trips, at least. When does the contest officially end???
    Hope everyone's holiday season rocked!!

I think I remember seeing January 15 as the end of the competition, but don't quote me on that. And yes, that 200" buck you're gonna shoot will put us in the lead :tu:

A BIG congrats to the team so far!! I knew this team was going to be good!! I will be hunting everyday this coming week in search of a buck to hopefully help win this contest.. I shot a nice 135"+ a little far back in early November up in Wisconsin. I found the arrow and the front 13" was broken off and the rest of the arrow had alot of blood. We searched for over 5 hours and lost the blood trail in a marsh. The same trip I had a 150+ come running in on a can call he only needed to walk 10 more yards and I could have shot him. But my rookie friend that I set up about 75 yards across the ravine from me decided to stand up and get ready for a shot in case I missed. The buck seen him and was gone as fast as he came in. My friend apologised repeatedly but I still made him buy dinner the rest of the trip. Good Luck to anyone still out there hunting and those that are not sign up for the Shed Hunting Contest.
