NCRemington700 will be checking in shortly. He just moved into a new house and the telephone people around here are idiots.
I'm here! Finally. We moved in almost a week ago and I just got internet service. I'm looking forward to a great season. Got a good buck on trail cam here in SC and we'll be hunting in Illinois the first week or so of November. I'm hoping for a high taxidermy bill this year!
Good to see so many familiar faces..Can't wait to get to know the newer guys. I'm Bob, Married 3 kids, Shoot both Hoyt and Bowtech. I live in Ohio and mostly hunt public land with a few local farms thrown in. Our season comes in Sept 25th .
We are gonna have to move fast to elect a Team Name and Captain. If ya'll have some team name ideas start throwing them out.
Nah no intrest in the Captaincy...I've had my chances, let someone new take the helm. I just wanna enjoy the season and the friendship.
midwestshedhunters checking in, better late than never. Hope to help the team out as best as i can. Got some new permission this season,in an area i shed hunt. From this area i have 594 inches of shed antler from ONE deer, hope to see him. Picked his sheds (both)4 years in a row. got pics and video footage-to say i'm pumped is an understatement.
Gr8 and NCR700 on the same team? You guys are doomed I tell you, doomed. lol Have a great season guys!
Hey all. Lady Forge checking in to Team 7 I will be bowhunting east central and west central Illinois this year. So far from the deer I am seeing its looking good. The farmers are already hitting the fields here, its the earliest I have ever seen them combining corn here, spotted a real nice tall tined buck out in the field yesterday at 12:30 in the afternoon, I think its starting to look real good for this season
Sounds Good LF.. I know you'll be on some good ones! I finally got my best stand set Sunday. It took 3 days..First night I got the ATV buried in the swamp. It spent the night there as I hiked out and called for a ride. 2nd night we went back in and winched it out. Sunday got it set and it's a slammer set-up!
I havent seen too many deer during the day around here, but my main area is standing corn this year. I know there is a buck that is over 200" on the property that I hunt, but I have only seen him in the bean field at midnight with my KC truck lights There are several bucks over 140" though, so I am definitely looking forward to September 20!
