Guys, we are still within striking distance. Keep at it. I should be able to get in 6-8 more hunts in during December. I have never arrowed a buck in December but I am game to try hard. Bring it!

Keep at it guys, we definitely have a shot at this thing! I just ordered a new, king sized freezer yesterday. So I may have to kill another deer or two myself
Were getting close guys....I moved my stand today to a better spot where Ive seen alot of deer so hopefully there'll be a bunch more points on the board!!!
choppernut, welcome back man! I wish you the best of luck. Keep hunting hard and that is awesome you feel confidence in your new stand. I am tired but I am heading out for about a 4 hour hunt in the morning. I won't be able to get on stand until about 20 minutes before sun-up but that is how it goes in my fast paced life. Really hoping I get lucky on a decent buck.

Just got back from my dads cabin and I hunted hard for two days hiked about five miles a day up and down the mountain and I didn't see a single deer. We did get some snow and we did get on some fresh tracks but never caught up to them. So now I'm back to hunting local for now but ill be taking a break until after Christmas then ill probably get out about once a week until the end of January. Good luck out there guys and stay warm
heater body suit would be nice for this kind of weather, but I dont want to sacrafice 1/2 of a gun to buy that suit
Anyone hunting this weekend best of luck to you. Keep hunting hard. Massbow, that Heater Body suit is worth it's weight in gold. I've had one for 7-8 years and it has been a life saver when the temps plummet and the wind picks up.
I'll be out for a few sits with the bow in December and January. Really wanna get some sits with the cap lock muzzleloader shooting patch and ball too.

Hunting is closed here until after Christmas so I won't be out till then but I did get some more trail cams and am really looking forward to putting them to use. I had one that I've been trying out for a while and it got me hooked so I went and bought 5 more can't wait to see what I get on them because the pressure around here is very high it'll be interesting to see when the deer are moving. I will get in at least four more hunts before the season is done and I'm still trying for a 100plus buck And remember it ain't over till its over so keep at it and stay warm. Good luck
I just went out for the weekend, didn't see a single deer. No food whatsoever, with the drought killing the crop harvest this year. Kind of a drag, my season may be over. Might have one weekend left in me. Merry Christmas Bullies! Hope you guys have a great holiday, and someone go kill somethin!
Good luck tomorrow Massbow. I may be heading out myself for an afternoon hunt so ill see how I'm feeling tomorrow if I don't hunt I'll at least do some scouting for next year maybe put out some trail cams.
Massbow and others, good luck. I am down to my last 1/2 day hunt this coming Saturday. If anything crosses my path it gets an arrow.
Just got back from a little late season scouting and I kicked up a huge buck unfortunately he only had half a rack and I didn't have my bow anyway although I wouldn't have shot it would have been a shame without the full rack. The buck was hanging with a bunch of does and a little spike. Ill probably head out this weekend for a late season doe.
