set up between two logging roads on a bench.....on the side of a decent side mountain working the correct wind. The next two days will be my best chance to arrow a big boy this year. I dont know this property just working the wind, cover, and topography.
Saw 25 deer....15 in range including 5 bucks. biggest was a 80 inch 6 pt.....back at it tomorrow all day.
Hopefully will tag a doe tomorrow, bringing my cousin out for his first time, hopefully he will see something to keep him entertained. He shoots a pse coyote recurve. I was expecting him to spray all over due to having the bow a few months and shooting a couple times a week. But he actually susprised me and was hitting lungs and spine at 25 yards from a tree. Couldn't believe it. Hopefully he gets hooked and buys a compound
Pulled an all day sit yesterday, in the tree from 6 to 630. It was very windy and cold tree was blowing real bad but stuck it out anyway but didnt see anything I think the wind had them holding tight. Wont be back out till next week on friday and sat. And the following monday. Somethins gotta give here soon and ill be ready. Good luck to all heading out this weekend.
