I don’t use trail cameras so I have no cool pictures to show lol sorry guys! I’m one of those weird guys that really likes the element of surprise. Quit using them about 4 years ago and that’s about the time I stopped passing on good bucks hoping for giants that we had pictures of. Honestly it’s was a turning point in hunting for me and it started to become an absolute blast again. To each their own though! Usually just hunt sign and past experiences. Works out sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. I am on a four year buck streak so hopefully I’m not jinxing it ha! I’ve been riding the gravel roads on the state forest I hunt a lot coming to and from work. Have to say the acorn crop and the deer numbers look a little rough. We got hammered with ehd bad last year…good news is I have 70,000+ acres within 20 miles from me so I’m sure to find some pockets of deer somewhere! 29 more days! Can’t wait! Our acorns are dropping g like crazy where I’m at I. Minnesota. The master bedroom in my house has done windows in the ceiling and my house is surrounded by oak trees. September in my bedroom always sounds like riding out a hailstorm in a camper when the wind blows. I’m good with the captain pick. lucky 7’s Sucky but lucky 7 is clever
