Well guys, my bow season is unofficially over. I had 11 sits and saw 1 deer in the stand. MN gun season opens tomorrow which rolls into thanksgiving and then I have some work travel planned in December. I say unofficially because MN bow season goes to the end of the year but typically by the time we get through thanksgiving we are into negative temperatures and snow. If there is a perfect scenario I may get 1 more sit but most likely its the end of the bow road for me. I'll keep checking in and offering support for you guys though!
That's a bummer. It gets tough after shotgun season.. I loathe that it's always the first Saturday of November and down here there are two shotgun seasons with unlimited antlerless tags, cross tagging, etc. I hate the rules that have come out since CWD but it is what it is. Hope you get a couple more sits in and otherwise have safe travels for work and a great Holiday Season
Yeah I’m in 604 the heart of the CWD regs in north central MN. Our orange army group has the opportunity of 60 tags. As always we will end up with somewhere between 6-12 deer for the group. 1 or 2 good bucks, likely 2.5 year olds and mayyyybe a 3.5 year old. 2 or 3 young bucks and a handful of does.

Goodluck man! Keep the ball rolling! I have a sitter lined up for tomorrow evening so gonna sneak out for a few. Might sneak another vacation day in if it doesn’t decide to pull the Ohio November summer on me ha. Other than that I’ll be out next weekend for all day sits.
