Drove a little over an hour to two new spots Saturday. Closest I could get to either of them was over a mile. 8 separate roads going to the two places and every road was plugged with snow. Talk about a bummer.. 25mph winds and 10° or I would have parked and walked down the road to get to them.
Went out for about an hour and a half last night after work. Saw over 100 deer on the property and not one antler. Either they've shed and they're hiding under a foot of snow or I interrupted ladies night. I couldn't believe it.
Working Saturday but going to try and get out Sunday to the property I found all mine last year. Drove by on Saturday and didn't seem like there was as many deer yarded up there but the fields where still tore up in the snow. Snow should be gone by Sunday with warmer temps and rain coming later In the week
Anyone been out? I was at my in laws Fri-Sun so I didn't get to go out but this coming weekend I should be able to spend shed hunting. We got some 40-50 degree weather this weekend so a lot of the snow has melted which is nice. Might do a quick walk at lunch today.
Been super busy working overtime so I have been out since last Wednesday when I found these but I got 9 more days of work then I'll be out searching for some more horns!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Didn't end up making it out on Sunday. Calling for 6in of snow tomorrow so that may post pone looking until it melts. If I don't have to work Sunday may be heading to Ohio for the weekend to cover a few properties with a buddy

Well just as the snow was pretty much gone we got hit with another 6inches yesterday. Did lock up the property I seen all the deer a couple weeks ago. So as soon as this snow melts I'll be out. Looking like next weeks should be able to
Didn't walk more than a mile Saturday but again no luck. Talked to a guy that lives 20 minutes south of me and he said he saw 5 bucks this past week still holding. Sometime in the next three weeks my wife and I are planning a road trip to SE MN to do some shed hunting and scouting.
Well you can finally put a tally next to my name. I sure haven't been getting out as much as I've wanted to lately.
