We hit 70* here yesterday, but that same storm is headed our way today. Just rain so far...with 1-3 inches of snow expected.

Went out today for a short walk after work for a hour and found my best shed this year. Its a basic 10 frame with a extra point. DSCF3052.jpg DSCF3053.jpg
Found it in his bed under some white pines beside a pond.

I went out today and found 3 a matching set off a ten 40 ft from each other along a creek that boarders our property and a small 3 point I found that has been chewed up on the points by a yote lol does this one still count ?

Wow!!! Sorry I've been outta the loop for a bit. All the snow is just about gone! Went out with my son today and found an old one from last year buried in some wet leaves with only one point sticking out. [IMG]

Great finds guys, and yes Solo I think the small 3pt still counts. I came down with a flu last night and don't think I will make it out this weekend, it sucks the weather is great and I just started picking up momentum on finding sheds.

Hey guys. Been tied up a bit but got out today and had my best day yet. I got 6. 5 fresh and one from last year. Unfortunetly my shed season is coming to a end in NY. Getting a bit warm and starting to pull ticks off myself. Maybe we will get another cold snap. If not, i still got a week of shedding in the midwest. Can anybody tell me if this is just for whitetail sheds or does it include elk and muleys?

Great finds AI, that's some awesome numbers. I check the rules and it is for any shed from any animal.

We got rained out at work, so I hit a new property that I got permission to hunt on. I've never set foot in these woods, so I was very excited to find this beauty...

made it out on my property today for a solid 3 hours, went to every buck bed I know and could find, every rub line, and got skunked!!! I wonder if the field mice could have eaten some of them with all the snow? they've been on the ground since early January, maybe im just having a bad day! lol!!

Took Josh's advice and went out this afternoon. Nice afternoon in the woods. Only found one but it's from a buck I passed on earlier in the year.[IMG][IMG]

Went out today for a 1.5 hours looking for the other side to that big 8 I found on Friday, but no luck. On a side note, I was looking at the other small 8 pt side I found on Friday and I think it was a match side to one I found about a month ago. It was over a mile from were I found the other. I cant believe how far these bucks will travel.

Got out this afternoon to take the dog for a walk and found 1 more old shed and a dead head that I just cut off the antlers. My dog never finds any sheds but loves to run thru the thickits with me. He has become my lucky charm, every time I take him out with me we find sheds. DSCF3062.jpg DSCF3064.jpg
