I got most everything completed and setup this weekend on the farm in Ohio. Now it's just a waiting game.
Nice! I been slacking in Ohio, I’m just going to go in and hunt fresh sign and areas I’m familiar with. Free time has been hard to come by, I got all my areas in Pa setup at least.
Yesterday was wild all day were in the elk. Drew back 3 different times. Got bust by a cow once and the other 2 times he went the wrong direction. Today is my last full day unfortunately bc of work. Today has been slow. Rancher that owns land is pissed with us. We caught him running a hunter on public without a tag and now is kinda harassing us. Called the game warden and said we were trespassing. We showed the game warden our gohunt track and we are fine. The warden told us this guy is trying to shut this pocket of public down and was surprised we walked as far as we did to get here. Haven’t seen a legal hunter the entire time and stopped counting elk after 200. The biggest bulls I have ever seen here just hard to get close bc of how open it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like the mount. We got a first time bow hunter and first time elk hunting a cow elk. I had such a great time with this gentleman. He is the one on bottom right
I got him posted. He was just a fergie buck. Our archery hunt here ends next Friday. I got a little meat for the freezer.
My next deer hunt with a bow won’t be till January. I should be able to get the team another 50 points. My youngest son still has an any bull tag to fill. My second son (I have 4 sons) has an antelope tag that starts next Saturday. Of course I got to take the grandkids duck hunting
I'm back in the states guys ..... and what a way to come back to the team thread! Everyone is checked in and Oldcarp with a kill! Awesome job! Is everyone ok with me as captain? What's the top vote getter for name? Antler Alliance? Sent from my SM-S908U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
