I am fine with Suncrest as captain.

If he doesn't want it, I can do it also.

    Good luck Wedes and Oldcarp!

On the road to my elk unit. I should be there in about four hours then try to get as deep as I can to where we think they are. My buddy I am hunting with is already in and up from about a half mile away three 5 x 5 and two 6 x 6 bulls.

Yesterday was a good day for the elk and humbling for us hunting them. I had an embarrassing miss on a spike yesterday morning. I won’t go into details, but I thought it was my equipment. I went back to camp shot my bow and everything was shooting great. Needless to say this old man screwed it up.
My son drew an any bull tag for this area. We called in a five point bull. He was 40 yards away, but we could not get a shot through the trees. Quite a rush to call one of those in though. It’s like he knew what we were thinking. Every time we make a move, he make one to keep trees between us and him. The best part was when I come back to the side-by-side. My son gave me a great big hug and said that was just a cool experience.

At lunch with a bit of service. Have seen 3 herds so far. We were on a ridge line and 6x6 bull started bugling and we spotted him 1300 yds away. We moved in and got to 75 yds. His cows spotted us. And they blew out. Still fun. First stalk of the year.

I'm out of the country starting tomorrow, so I'll be offline for a week or so. I'm not gone, just getting a vacation in before hunting season.

I'm fine with whatever name and captain the majority decides.

Good luck with the elk guys!

I’d like to bail on captain this year, I’m gonna be all over the place this year with work and hunting trips. I’ll still check in often, I’d like Logman for captain. And I’m good with any name

I'm fine with being captain as long as everyone else is. I'll be back from my vacation the end of this week. Hopefully atlasman will be checked in at that point and I can message LC and let him know that all members are checked in, captain, and team name.

Good luck with the elk guys. Hoping for elk pics when I get back on in a week or so!

3 stalks yesterday but no kills. Walked 15 miles and gained and lost a lot of elevation.

We’re all checked in, I did alot of work on my prop over the weekend. Still some small things to do I’ll wrap up this week, going to be trying to get my nephew on his fist buck.
