Well that happened fast. A spike was chasing a doe, followed by an 8 point who was followed by a big 8 with an eye guard. I tried to get him to stop the second time by but he acted like he never heard me. He ended up getting her out in the field 75 yards from me and then she left going away from me. I was out this am, can’t catch up to these bucks I’m trying to kill. It’s gonna happen eventually, I’ll keep after it!!

I’m still hitting it hard. Gun season just came in today in Pa. I’m gonna take my bow out this evening at an urban spot. Deer are running into that prop as I type this, cell cams are lighting up. Pressure all around forces them into this thick sanctuary area.
Back in Illinois from Pa. Hunted the first day of rifle there and saw 38 deer the best I could count. No bucks. Will do some bowhunting to try and tag a doe.
