Just got back from Missouri. Almost no service. Roughrst hunt I have had there ever. Saw tons of sign with very little daytime movement. Nothing in range other than little spikes and button bucks. I go back here for work in a couple weeks and will bring the bow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just got back from Ohio camping on public with my buddies, drank too much, laughed it up and just got back to our roots trying to get a deer killed. I haven’t had this much fun in the woods for years, felt like a kid again. Managed to rattle one in today and shoot him at 30 yds, came in through a pine thicket like a bull in a china shop, got me all fired up haha. Went back and met the boys and we packed it out!
That is a great buck. Congratulations. I am originally from Pa and used to go hunt Ohio and then I moved there for a while. I enjoyed hunting in Ohio and killed my biggest buck there.
Congratulations on a great buck! I knew you would get a good one in Ohio. I’m heading back on Saturday and taking my rattling horns along. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I forgot to tell you guys that I rushed home from Ohio on Monday to take my granddaughter back out hunting and we weren't in the blind 15 minutes, when we saw a doe coming in by herself. I told her to look behind it to see if there was a buck trailing it. Sure enough, this guy was behind her and gave her a 22-yard shot with my crossbow. She is now 15 years old, and I think this is her 6th buck she has taken but this is the biggest for her in PA.
Congrats to her! That's what it's about, spending quality time with family! Sent from my SM-S908U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Certainly not the biggest buck I’ve ever killed but he was on my property at home…..today is the last day of archery and I had never killed a buck with a crossbow before. All that equals a hunt to remember
Congratulations Atlas! Way to get it done and make it a first with a crossbow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
