Just got the call from the butcher good to pick up!! Need to figure out what day this week works for the taxidermist
Typically we butcher our own and do mostly steaks roast and burger. I just have the back straps and burger on this one since we usually run out of burger throughout the year we are going heavy on it this year. I also got this butchers specialty deer and crab sausage which is awesome!

I'll be getting out tomorrow morning again close to the spot that I sat Sunday morning. This time I'll tuck myself into the field edge close to where that buck stepped out. I hope to get out Saturday for the PA opener. Forecast has gotten worse, looks like it might be a washout. I'm hoping maybe it isn't steady as they are calling for. Either way I plan to get out a couple times next week as well.
