I would walk in with gym shorts and a tshirt, change at the base of the stand and put those soaked clothes in a ziplock… then by the time I was at the top of the ladder I was soaked again lol
I just got a message from an acquaintance that lives near one of my permission pieces asking if I was planning on hunting this weekend for the opener. He's been driving around the section every few nights and apparently been seeing a couple of the bucks I'm targeting out in the fields before dusk. The two spots he indicated are rubbish for the predicted NW wind however. Good to know they didn't shift after shedding velvet though! Season opens Saturday morning! Comping at the bit here in PA. Our opening day is not until October 1st !! Hung some stands and have the cams out. Did get to hunt much last season due to back issues. Doing much better now after surgery and raring to go. Good luck and lets go team 7!!
