Missouri opens today. We are in Harvest so I don't know when i will get the first chance to sit in a stand. Weather forecasters calling for 90's this weekend so its not looking good for me on that front. Ill have my hit list up by end of this weekend. good luck to everybody.

This is a buck I named Hi-Rise. Pretty sure he is a 4.5 year old. Have pics of him the last 2 years. Never have seen him on foot. #1 on the Hitlist

This is a buck i call Welven Da Great. 3.5 y/o. He is new this year. No history with him. He will be an end of the year I dont have a buck yet harvest if I get him. I really want to pass on him so he gets another year to grow. Giant in the making year or two from now!!!

This is a buck I call Gus. He is #1b on the hit list. I hope to get a shot at this buck if I don't get Hi-Rise.

The following bucks are all pics from 2016 season. To my knowledge nobody harvested any of them in 2016 but they also have not shown up on camera this year.

    Buck named Krack

    Buck named Blazer

    Buck named Throttle

    Buck named Musketeer

Buck I named Ghost. These are the only 2 good pics I have of this buck. He is a main frame 10 pt. No idea where he came from and none of the neighbors have him on trail cam either.

Nice looking bucks there. Stay safe out there in the fields (and on the roads).

All prepared here for the IL opener Oct 1st. Bow is dialed in with BHs to 60 yds. No, I won't shoot a deer that far, but it makes those typical whitetail archery range shots really easy and more accurate (for me). Licenses and permits all acquired. Just need a big cold front to come thru on the 30th!

anything will feel like a cold front compared to these days recently. I'm gonna check a camera on Saturday after work to see if the four deer are still hanging around.

It's hot as fire here today boys. The sun finally dropped below the trees and I'm tucked In the same blind I've been the last few times. I'm getting pretty anxious for deer meat.
Muzzleloader season opens for me next weekend and 2 weeks after that will be gun season. I plan to bow hunt right on through it. My take the gun out one afternoon for a doe if I can
